Seeing that I’ll have something like 20+hours of daylight I hope to be able to do some fun stuff, I’ve compiled a list of things to do.
- Tele Ski on a Glacier.
- Float a Kayak on a lake with Ice surroundings.
- Resort to the Hunter and Gatherer life style and catch my own food.
- Watch some 3000 bald eagles feast on salmon during spawning season.
- See a bear face-to-face and hopefully live to tell the story (fingers crossed).
- Take a Flight to a remote lake for the weekend and stay in a cabin.
The list will be updated as I learn more about AK!

You'll like it in the north country. Although, I'd seriously rethink that bear dream. No matter how cool you think they are, or how much of a genious you thought Timothy Treadwell was, they're not fun to meet. Believe me.
Sounds like a blast. Watch out for them mosquito's and black flies. I heard they can get as big as eagles and have been known to fly off with small children.
Good luck on your Hunter/Gather lifestyle. Just FYI, you CAN O.D on salmon and halibut...groan. :)

I envy you...it'd be great to pack up and spend some time in Alaska. If you haven't already watched it, check out the movie Into the Wild...great film!
